Manufacturing hydraulic cylinders is an involved and complex process and here at Hypower we go to great lengths to ensure quality is prioritised throughout the manufacturing process. Quality products require quality materials so our  purchasing agents are constantly comparing sources to guarantee we only utilise the best raw materials. Hypower strives to procure local Australian materials wherever possible to ensure unmatched products and short production times. Our Process

After raw materials have been obtained our highly trained manufacturing team begin their work to create your cylinders. Raw materials are first cut to length using our automated horizontal bandsaws and then pass through a series of turning and milling processes. State of the art Fronius circular welders are then used to weld barrels and head-caps together before final assembly. 

Once manufactured, all of our cylinders undergo a rigorous testing process to ensure that our products will exceed customer expectations both in performance and durability. Cylinders are pressure tested to their maximum pressure (210bar) and thoroughly inspected for leaks or other faults.

The finishing touches to our cylinders are made following a successful testing phase. Our state of the art spray booths allow us to provide a large range of colours to add an unparalleled level of polish and professionalism to the final product.

Finally, cylinders are labelled/engraved and packaged in custom boxes to ensure that they are protected from any damage during the shipping process.
